General Info

These pretty purple and white blossoms are a sure sign of spring. All parts of the flower are edible, so you can add blossoms whole to your dishes.

Serving Suggestions

Use the blossoms in your box this week to add a spicy, peppery, peanutty burst of flavor to egg dishes, sandwiches, and soups. They are a great complement to citrus and mild greens.

Definitely a more delicate Abundant Harvest produce box item, use your blossoms quickly. Keep them dry and store them sealed in a plastic bag with a paper towel in the fridge. You can also set them out in a vase with enough water to cover the stem ends for decoration. Use the blossoms within four or five days.
