Think Bloomsdale spinach, those Nantes carrots with the green tops that you can eat like candy, and the super sweet Sugar Baby watermelons we have in the summers. Yup, that’s all from legendary farmer Tom Willey.
He’s pretty famous in the organic agriculture world (check out his mention in the New York Times), and rightly so, as he was a pioneer of organic farming in the Central Valley.
This year we’ve also been treated to his brussels sprouts. Hear from the farmer himself about what makes these sprouts different than others you may have tried in the past.
